Ice skating poster

WALT: advertise our ice skating fundraiser by making a persuasive poster.

The reason I made this poster is because we are bringing a ice skating rink to kaitaia. We are bringing it because we are trying to make money for our year 7 and 8 wellington trip. I found this really easy to do so i made three. πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

WALT draw a native bird

WALT write a persuasive writing.

Fantail/piwakawaka

The Fantail/Piwakawaka is one of our most common birds in New Zealand.
It is a small bird that is approximately 16 centimetres long. It is cheeky.
It is white, brown, and pale with a very long tail that looks like a fan.
Today I am going to inform you about the fantails predators, their habitat and lastly their diet.
I hope you understand how important they are as native New Zealand bird. 🐣🐣🐣

Fantails/Piwakawaka have many predators such as cats, rats, stoats, possums
and many more. Although there are a lot of fantail/Piwakawaka in New Zealand
we still need to take care of them.πŸπŸ€

Most Fantail/Piwakawaka live in open forest. But you can also find them
in scrub plantation forest and in your gardens. Since the fantail/Piwakawaka live
in open forest it makes it easy for all its predators to grab them.🌳🌴🌲

Since the Fantail/Piwakawaka is very small it can't eat big things like Stoats,
Rats, cats and stuff anyway the Fantail/Piwakawaka mostly eats small insects such
as moths, flies, beetles and spiders.πŸ•·πŸ•·

Therefore I think There are a lot of Fantail/piwakawaka in New Zealand and
we need to keep it that way. I hope you learnt something throughout this story.
An I hope you enjoyed it.πŸ‡³πŸ‡ΏπŸ™‚πŸ‡³πŸ‡ΏπŸ™‚
